Becky Breaux, PhD, OTR/L, ATP and Michelle L. Lange, OTR/L, ATP/SMS

This mixed-methods study is supported by a grant from the National Institute on Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research (NIDILRR grant number90SFGE0077).  NIDILRR is a Center within the Administration for Community Living (ACL), Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).  This study includes the development and dissemination of a cross-sectional survey to individuals who use dynamic seating and their caregivers, followed by semi-structured interviews with a subset of participants. Data will be used to investigate the characteristics of users, their patterns-of-use, and their perceptions about the impact of dynamic seating on their health, functional abilities, participation, and experiences of disability.
